What is Asia? Security and Social Change in the Asia Pacific region
The Master of Arts Asia Pacific Policy Studies (MAAPPS) program at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver is hosting an International Graduate Conference on contemporary issues in the Asia-Pacific Region.
The conference is designed to provide an interdisciplinary forum for graduate students to exchange ideas, compare methodologies and discuss current research on contemporary Asia and Asia-Pacific affairs. It is also an excellent opportunity to interact, network and collaborate with peers from different institutions and across a wide range of academic disciplines.
Application Guidelines
Applicants need to:
a. be currently enrolled in a Master's or PhD program, or have graduated from a Master's/PhD program in 2014; and
b. submit abstracts for papers focused on Asia Pacific-related topics using the application form (only complete forms will be processed!)
Abstracts must be received by no later than December 31st, 2014
