The Asia Pacific Region is geographically enormous, characterized by a diversity of religions, languages, cultures, and ideologies. Students from the Master of Arts in Asia Pacific Policy Studies (MAAPPS) program at the University of British Columbia (UBC) are interested in exploring all aspects of importance in this diverse region. To this end, we are excited to organize a conference in the early spring of 2015 at which we hope to get together current and recent MA and PhD students to share our research and insights into issues related to Asia Pacific governance, public policy, security, social change, international relations, just to name a few. We would like to reach out to as many graduate students of the Asia Pacific region as possible, so start spreading the word to any graduate students you know who would have an interest in this conference and we will post more details soon!
